All mineral silk powders are talc-free vegan, organic and cruelty free with limited plastic packaging. Zao mineral silk foundation powder comes in a bamboo case. Ideal for keeping in your day or makeup bag!
As with all Zao products, this is free from talc and parabens (synthetic preservatives), instead Zao use micronised silver as an effective and non-toxic preservative. Zao does not use nanoparticles in their products, with the micronised silver being larger than nanoparticle size, making Zao products safe and free from man made toxic chemical preservatives.

Packaging
ZAO makeup may not be 100% plastic free due to regulations but they are working towards plastic free in the future and are constantly reducing the plastic in their packaging.
The foundation powder is held in a reusable bamboo case.
The refills do come in plastic that is easily and fully recyclable but Zao are working towards replacing this plastic packaging with card/paper in the future.
