Shade mix by Seedball is a simpler and more natural way to grow from seed. A natural mix of British native wildflower seeds that are designed to bring the bees and butterflies to your garden!
Seed balls support local pollinator populations with their nectar rich wildflowers including Bellflower, Forget-me-not, Meadow Buttercup, Meadowsweet, Oxeye Daisy, Ragged Robin and Red Campion. Seedball shade mix is perfect for gardeners and being easy to use you don’t need any expert knowledge! Transform your garden and empty spaces in to a haven for wildlife.

Shade Mix in a tube by Seedball is a mix of British native wildflowers that pollinators will love! Ideal for shadier areas of your garden or balcony. While these wildflowers will struggle in total shade, this mix is designed for spots which receive only dappled sun or sun for just one part of the day (although will grow equally well in areas of full sun)..
Each seed ball contains approximately 30 seeds from a mix of Bellflower, Forget-me-not, Medow Buttercup, Meadowsweet, Oxeye Daisy, Ragged Robin and Red Campion which are all responsibly sourced in the UK from Flora Locale accredited suppliers.
What’s great about Seedballs is that the ball prevents the seeds from being eaten by birds and insects, thereby increasing the chances of your wildflowers growing. They are also super easy to use, so no digging or expert knowledge needed!

Each tube of Shade Mix contains 12 seed balls, enough to cover 1 metre square in the garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). For best results scatter in Spring or Autumn.
All the seeds used in Seedballs are responsibly sourced in the UK from Flora Locale accredited suppliers and only ever use peat-free compost.
