The wildlife collection includes one box for each type of wildlife plus an information card with details on each wildflower mix.
Set includes:
Bee Box – A mix of native wildflowers that bees will just love! The carefully selected mix is designed specifically to attract solitary bees, honey bees and bumblebees. With a mix of Birdsfoot Trefoil, Foxglove, Red Clover, Viper’s Bugloss and Wild Marjoram which are all recommended as bee friendly plants by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
Butterfly Box – Butterfly mix by Seedball is a mix of native wildflowers that are perfect for butterflies! A lovely, beautiful collection of purple, pink and blue flowers that are designed to attract butterflies to your garden, balconies and window boxes. Includes Purple Loosestrife, Forget-me-not, Musk Mallow, Red Campion and Yarrow which are all recommended by the Butterfly Conservation.
Hedgehog Box – is great for creating a hedgehog friendly garden with wildflower mix of Yellow Rattle, Wild Carrot, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Tufted Vetch, Self Heal and Poppy.
Bird Box – a wildflower mix that is perfect for attracting birds to your gardens to feed on seeds and insects. Includes Wild Carrot, Common Poppy, Great Knapweed, Tufted-Vetch, Corn Marigold, and Sheep Sorrel. Bird box wildflowers will boost the food supply for a wide range of birds including goldfinches, blue tits, chaffinches, greenfinches, robins and starlings.
Beetle Box – a stunning seed mix of Foxglove, Field Scabious, Common Knapweed, Great Burnet, Cow Parsley, Cornflower, and Yarrow. All are ideal at attracting ladybirds and pollinating beetles, who are important for our garden ecosystems.
Bat Box – Includes a mix of borage, cornflower, corn marigold, evening primrose, night-scented stock and wallflower. Seedball bat mix contains a special mix of natural wildflowers to attract a wide diversity of insects that bats feed on, including flowers that release their fragrance in the evening when bats are most active in our gardens. This mix also has plants with a combination of long and short pollen tubes and range of colours and shapes of flower to maximise the number of insects that they attract.
