Seedball bird mix is created in collaboration with National History Museum with a seed mix that is designed to boost the food supply of Goldfinches, Blue Tits, Chaffinches, Greenfinshes, Robins and Starlings. Bird mix wildflower seed tin by Seedball is created in collaboration with scientists at the Natural History Museum to help garden birds. A wildflower mix that is perfect for attracting birds to your gardens to feed on seeds and insects.
According to the RSPB, a lack of habitat and food abundance has lead to a huge decline (over 50% in the last 45 years) of many common UK garden bird species.
Seedball bird mix is designed to feed the birds for you, and is a much more sustainable option to buying plastic bagged bird feed! The careful selection of plants will boost the food supply for a wide range of birds including Goldfinches, Blue Tits, Chaffinches, Greenfinches, Robins, Starlings, increasing the number of birds seen in your garden.
Whilst in bloom the wildflowers will attract insects that many birds feed on, while birds will also feed directly on the plants and seeds themselves.
Each seed ball contains approximately 30 seeds including Wild Carrot, Common Poppy, Great Knapweed, Tufted-Vetch, Corn Marigold, and Sheep Sorrel.
What’s great about Seedballs is that the ball prevents the seeds from being eaten by birds and insects, thereby increasing the chances of your wildflowers growing. They are also super easy to use, so no digging or expert knowledge needed!

Each tin of Bird Mix Seedball contains 20 seed balls, enough to cover 1 metre square in the garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). For best results scatter in Spring or Autumn.
All the seeds used in Seedballs are responsibly sourced in the UK from Flora Locale accredited suppliers, only ever use peat-free compost and their steel tins are manufactured in London (with the help of a solar farm on the factory roof)
