A light balm with a velvety texture that melts on your lips while providing a natural glossy effect. Its active ingredients intensely moisturise your lips to give them elasticity and a natural shine, and if used regularly, it will protect against the harsh elements of cold, wind and sun. This newly reformulated product is vegan, using organic cocoa butter, organic carnauba wax and organic castor oil as an effective replacement to beeswax. It has now also become refillable to reduce waste.
Ingredients highlight:
Organic castor oil – An emollient and allows to soften the skin. It is also moisturising and increases rge water content of the skin, keeping it soft and smooth.
Organic shea butter – Is extracted from shea nuts, a tree growing only in the wild in the savannahs of West Africa. Its composition rich in fatty acid gives it moisturising and nourishing properties.

The refills do come in plastic that is easily and fully recyclable but Zao are working towards replacing this plastic packaging with card/paper in the future.
