Folk Soap’s certified organic lavender essential oil is sourced from France, where the tops of purple flowers are steam distilled to preserve as much as possible of this delicate botanical oil. Naturally antibacterial, lavender can also reduce stress and anxiety and promote a sense of calm.
Oat milk is great for reducing inflammation, gently cleansing and hydrating the skin. Oat milk is rich in essential proteins and minerals such as Vitamin B which reduces inflammation and dryness. It also has lactic acid that acts as an exfoliant and enzymes that help soothe the skin.
Oats are suitable for everyone, even the most sensitive skin types. Oats soak up excess oils on your skin and their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties (owed to the presence of different types of protective phenols in oat’s natural composition) also help to treat dry skin and remove dead skin cells.
