50ml – Ceramide Gel Moisturiser
Give your skin lightweight hydration with the UpCircle Ceramide Gel Moisturiser, a cooling, weightless face moisturiser designed to support the skin barrier without the heaviness of a traditional cream.
The refreshing gel texture cools on contact with the skin and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy film or shine, making it easy to wear underneath SPF and makeup.
At the heart of the formula is Ceramide NP, encapsulated in tiny lipid particles to help protect the ingredient from light and oxidation and deliver it to the skin. Ceramides are naturally found in the skin and play an important role in supporting the skin barrier and helping to retain moisture.
The formula also contains upcycled maca root peptides, which help support the skin’s elasticity and firmness, alongside a blend of hydrating ingredients including glycerin, saccharide isomerate and upcycled myo-inositol.
Upcycled bilberry seed oil helps to nourish and soften the skin. The bilberry seeds are rescued after the berries have been used for their natural colour, giving this ingredient a second life.
Unlike many cooling skincare products, this moisturiser contains no menthol and no added fragrance. Its cooling sensation comes from an odourless ingredient that interacts with TRPM8, a receptor involved in sensing coolness in the skin.
The moisturiser has been formulated with mature and hormonally fluctuating skin in mind, including skin affected by menopause and perimenopause. It is also suitable for skin that is oily, combination or simply prone to changing from day to day.
The lightweight gel texture makes it a lovely everyday moisturiser for anyone who wants hydration and barrier support without a rich cream.
