Seed balls support local pollinator populations such as butterflies and bees with their nectar rich wildflowers including Purple Loosestrife, Forget-me-not, Musk Mallow, Red Campion and Yarrow. Butterfly mix in a handy grab bag by Seedball is a mix of native wildflowers that are perfect for butterflies! A lovely, beautiful collection of purple, pink and blue flowers that are designed to attract butterflies to your garden, balconies and window boxes.
Each seed ball contains approximately 30 seeds from a mix of Purple Loosestrife, Forget-me-not, Musk Mallow, Red Campion and Yarrow which are all recommended by the Butterfly Conservation.
Butterfly mix Seedballs also contain a sprinkling of pollinator-friendly annuals such as Chamomile, Cornflower, Corn Marigold, and Night flowering catchfly.
What’s great about Seedballs is that the ball prevents the seeds from being eaten by birds and insects, thereby increasing the chances of your wildflowers growing. They are also super easy to use, so no digging or expert knowledge needed!

Each bag of Butterfly Mix contains 100 seed balls, enough to cover 5 metres squared in the garden bed or 15-25 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). For best results scatter in Spring or Autumn.
All the seeds used in Seedballs are responsibly sourced in the UK from Flora Locale accredited suppliers, only ever use peat-free compost and their steel tins are manufactured in London (with the help of a solar farm on the factory roof)
